Fri, Sep 25 – Nov 1, 2026 Pumpkin Patches & Fall Fun Lemont

The Forge Enchanted Adventure

The Forge: Lemont Quarries is holding its first Enchanted Adventure, a half-mile trail of lit pumpkin displays through the quarry after dark. The trail is split into three themed zones, Monsters, Magic and Mischief, with live carving and photo stops along the way. The organizer says to plan about an hour for the walk.

The Forge: Lemont Quarries is trying something new this fall with Enchanted Adventure, a half-mile walking trail through the old quarry lit up by thousands of carved pumpkins after dark. The path runs through three themed zones, Monsters, Magic and Mischief, with more than 20 large displays, including a 16-foot Kraken and a troll, plus live pumpkin carving and photo stops along the way. The organizer describes it as family friendly and not scary, so it suits all ages. Plan on about an hour to walk the whole trail. The crushed limestone path is ADA accessible, and strollers and wagons are welcome, but pets are not. Kids can add a Fun Pass for the Kids Adventure Zone, jump zone and mini golf, and Graveyard Mini Golf and food are sold separately. Tickets are sold online through Eventbrite, all sales are final, and parking is free. Groups of 15 or more can ask about group pricing.
