Family-friendly trunk or treat at Hamilton Park with candy, games and a costume contest.
Hamilton Park in Englewood hosts a free trunk or treat on Saturday, October 24, from noon to 3 PM. Kids can collect candy, play games and enter a costume contest, so it's worth coming dressed up. The event is hosted by the local group This is Life Chicago and is part of the Park District's Halloween in the Parks. The Park District lists it for youth, and it's set up as a family-friendly afternoon. No registration is listed. It's a good daytime option for Englewood families a week ahead of Halloween.
