The Wintrust Magnificent Mile Lights Festival marks its 35th year on Saturday, November 21. During the day, Lights Festival Lane runs from 11 AM to 4 PM with live music, photos with Santa and family activities.
At 5:30 PM the parade steps off at Oak Street and heads south down Michigan Avenue with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, holiday floats, marching bands and giant balloons. The night ends with fireworks over the Chicago River at Michigan Avenue at 7:30 PM. Get to Michigan Avenue early for a good spot along the route.
