Siegel's Cottonwood Farm in Lockport runs its Pumpkin Fest every day from mid-September through Nov 1. A general ticket covers more than 30 activities on weekdays and more than 35 on weekends, along with a pumpkin field where you can pick your own (pumpkins are paid separately). Gem mining, the Cottonwood Railroad and the Scrapyard Shootout are add-ons, or you can get them bundled into the weekend all-inclusive ticket. There's food on site plus drinks for adults. It's built for families, and children 2 and under always get in free. The farm asks for one adult for every five kids 16 and under. Tips from the farm itself: weekdays and the start or end of the season are the calmest times, while the third and fourth weekends of October are the busiest. Parking is free. Cards carry a small service fee, so paying cash saves a little, and there are ATMs on site. Buying tickets online ahead of time is recommended.
Open daily Sept 19 – Nov 1, 10 AM–6 PM. Ticket tiers: weekday $19.95+; weekend/Columbus Day $29.95+; weekend combo $32.95+; weekend all-inclusive $41.95+ (adds gem mine bag, Scrapyard Shootout, railroad); groups of 20+ with train $27.95+. Discount tickets blacked out Oct 17–18 and 24–25.
