Effective October 23, 2026.
The Route is for locals who love this city. Keep it real, keep it kind, keep it about the spots. These guidelines apply to reviews, tips, photos, stories and profiles.
Do
- Share your own, honest experience. Good or bad is fine; be fair and specific.
- Post photos and videos you took yourself.
- Use a nickname if you like. It helps keep you private.
- Say so if a business paid you, gave you something free, or invited you. Use #ad or “Sponsored.”
Don’t
- Post fake reviews, review your own business, or trash a competitor.
- Harass, threaten, bully or use hate speech about anyone.
- Post nudity, sexual content, graphic violence or anything illegal.
- Share anyone’s private info: home address, phone, plate numbers, or faces of people who clearly didn’t want to be filmed.
- Post someone else’s photos or work without permission.
- Spam links, promo codes or ads in reviews and tips.
Staying safe
- Don’t share your real-time location or daily routine in posts.
- Consider posting a story after you’ve left a spot, not while you’re there.
- Meet businesses or other people from the Route only in public places.
