Ramova Theatre
Bridgeport's 1929 movie palace, reborn as a live music venue
Description
The Ramova Theatre is Bridgeport’s historic movie palace at Halsted and 35th Street. It opened in 1929, went dark in 1985, and came back as a live music venue at the end of 2023.
Today the main hall holds about 1,800 people for concerts and DJ nights, and the smaller Loft hosts DJ sets and community events. The same building is home to the Ramova Grill & Taproom, the old-school Bridgeport diner that served the neighborhood for more than 80 years, plus a brewery and beer garden — so you can eat and grab a drink before the show.
Tickets and the full show calendar are on the theatre’s website.
